Emergency Medical Services Training Center

Mercy Health System is dedicated to teaching local emergency responders about the latest in trauma care. The Mercy Regional Emergency Medical Services Training Center in Janesville is the main training center in Rock County, responsible for training paramedics and EMTs to provide life-saving medical care. Since opening its doors in 1990, it has trained and recertified more than 3,100 EMTs and paramedics.

The Mercy Regional EMS Training Center provides American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses. As a Certified State of Wisconsin EMS Training Center, MREMS offers an EMT-Basic Refresher course, an Itermediate Technician Refresher Course and a Paramedic Course.
